I’ve been writing business plans and advising entrepreneurs for over 25 years.
I have started my own companies; succeeded, failed and enjoyed a variety of experiences as a manager, consultant and executive and experienced what it takes to succeed, as well as how to fall on my face (gracefully and otherwise).
My life’s experience includes working for the Reagan Administration, media relations for the American Express Company, Account Executive for a Palo Alto recruiting firm, Salesman of the year for a Houston “Business Forms” company, raising $4.5 million in seed capital for an energy start-up, and advising an Academy Award winning director on a motion picture project.
To me, business is business; whether it’s soup or nuts, bricks and mortar, or internet ideas and marketing. My unique ability is to quickly grasp a company’s or executive’s strengths and core competencies and determine an effective course of action.
I’ve written or edited over 75 business plans–from 30 pages to a few that were over 250 pages–including plans for investment groups, a ski equipment company, a limousine service, entertainment firms, internet point-of-sale sites,a Silicon Valley electronics firm, and a fuel-cell car company.
I’ve traveled to 97 countries on all continents (except antarctica) and lived in England and Japan. Whether in San Francisco, Mexico City, London or Hong Kong; business is business and I can serve clients in any region.
